The Promax Making the Cut Competition is over. Um. I believe it was over in June. I must have missed something, because the video player on The CW’s website, just now lists the winning entry. Film students and amateur video directors from all over posted some really great entries for this promo contest.

As we count the last few days before Season Three begins, I thought I’d open up and confess a few of my favorite episodes of Supernatural. You may notice a theme that would indicate why I might be excited that Season Three will be more like Season One.

1.01 Pilot
I really did like the pilot. I thought it was a good story, and actually touching. I was convinced by the brothers display of tension, sprinkled with a distant brotherly love and concern.

Krysta showed me these very funny outtakes from Supernatural. It looks like mostly, if not all, Season 2 bloopers.

Are these guys goofy or what? I know, they’re hot too. I am comfortable enough with my straightness to say that.

That’s right. Mercedes McNab will tell the boys about her “supernatural” experience while out clubbing. Perhaps she’s a vampire once again. Ausiello, who covered this briefly, yesterday, hints with words like “picked up more than a hangover.” We know, however, how he loves to play with us. I guess we’ll all see on November 15.

Thanks go to Lynn who spotted these Supernatural episode 2 pics. These are shots of Dean and the son of one of Dean’s one night stands. Of course, while investigating a potential demon who preys upon mothers and their young children, Dean runs into the aforementioned old fling and her young son… who resembles Dean. You see where this is going.
If you just can’t wait to see it, you can always check the spoiler for “The Kids are Alright” (3.02).

Ok, in the world of fanfic, this is too OMG-tasticly tasty stuff. Krysta sent me a link to this brainchild of creator anketa. Plastic!Winchester reveals an 11″ other-worldly-though-navel-gazing look at the world of Sam and Dean. In its third “season”, Plastic!Winchester takes the action figures Plastic!Sam and Plastic!Dean through a bizarre, and frighteningly intriguing, Pee Wee’s Playhouse full of demons, werewolves, cursed necklaces, the Yellow-Eyed Demon in the form of the Energizer Bunny, and now, East High School.
