Supernatural Magazine Premiere Issue Hits Newsstands

Official Supernatural Magazine Premiere Issue

Tuesday, The Official Supernatural Magazine, based on The CW’s hit series featuring your favorite brothers, hit the magazine racks at your local bookstores.

On the banner page, Eric Kripke’s introduction statement promises that future issues will delve into the many “real” legends, urban and otherwise, behind many Supernatural stories. He also puts a name to what many fans see in the show –a patchwork of “horror, comedy, urban legends, classic rock, [late mythology scholar] Joseph Campbell, Route 66, [and] Westerns — all stitched together into one bloddy, twitching package.” It is, after all, about those stories you believed as a kid [cough! still do], and family. This is the unique mess of features that make us love the show.

Inside This Issue

  • Interviews with Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles about their time on the dark side.
  • Eric Kripke reveals some Season Three secrets, and the original ideas behind the series.
  • Demon gone wild Katie Cassidy –TV’s Ruby- interview.
  • Supernatural Artwork, exclusively for you, the fans!
  • Behind the wheel of the dreaded 1967 Impala.
  • Five-page montage-style recap of the series so far.
  • A loving look at the most noteworthy “interesting” motel rooms.
  • The usual “genre” magazine adverts for all kinds of Supernatural schwag. So, now you can show your love by wearing your logo polo shirt and drinking from your “Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cakehole!” coffee mug.
  • And much, much more…

This is a good looking magazine –beautiful art, great layout. If you’re a diehard fan, put a subscription on your wish list. It’ll save your mom a gift shopping trip to the Super Target.

So, hurry to the giant, open late bookstore in your town, and pick up the very first issue of Supernatural Magazine. As a bonus, if you go to Titan Magazines or call (877) 363-1310 and subscribe, you’ll get a map of the United States and 10 stickers featuring Supernatural monster artwork created by CreatureBox.
