Hmmm…don’t know if you’re suggesting that Mary wasn’t alive for a Christmas pic with the boys at this age, but it’s from the AU world. . . so. . .??

umm…i dunno…but i’m pretty sure that the mother isn’t supposed to be there cuz she died when sam was a baby.
That is correct! I was confused at the toddler/pre-school Sam with Mary, when she died when he was an infant.

I think Cynthia is right, this picture is supposed to be from the “alterna” world Dean was in and in that one Mary didn’t die.
This is the pic from the Winchester living room in What Is and What Should Never Be, so it’s in the world where Mary lived, and John died of a heart attack after the boys were all grown up. So there’s really nothing wrong with this pic at all, except maybe that Mary has blond hair instead of the brunette as in the picture….
