Supernatural Fans to The CW: Give Us Reruns!
With the end of new Supernatural episodes drawing near, The CW has already announced that they will put the show on hiatus to help Reaper, and other new fare.
Supernatural fans want NONE of that! While Erik Kripke and his team of daredevil promoters may be doing what they can to keep Supernatural on the air, the show’s fans, like Team Winchester.com, have taken it up a notch with online petitions to air Supernatural reruns.
Team Winchester holds the same concern that many of us do, that, The CW’s actions may prevent the show from gaining new viewers. As Supernatural is easily the network’s most under-promoted, under-appreciated, creative work, it would be difficult to argue otherwise.
At the end of February, Supernatural goes on hiatus, and Reaper –for which I also blog- takes its place on Thursdays, following Smallville. I know what they’re thinking. It’s the same thing they thought, when they moved Supernatural to the spot on Thursdays: following fellow genre-leader Smallville will introduce the show to the appropriate demographic, and increase viewership. Unfortunately, many former viewers lost track of the show, and don’t even realize it’s still on, and the numbers haven’t gone up in the way they’d hoped. That’s taking into account that Supernatural and Smallville are far more similar than either is to Reaper. So, my guess is that the gains for Reaper will not outdo those for Supernatural. Neither show, then will win.
Please take a look at the campaign, and consider adding your “signature”.

Can we change the CW’s course? Will the current plan hurt the show? What are your thoughts?

Big Time Jeers to the CW for removing Supernatural from the midseason line up!!!Supernatural is top drawer all the way!!
The show has everything! Not only does the show have good looking, talented actors it has some of the best writing and directing seen on a TV show in a long time. Supernatural has family values as its core, but yet at the same time Supernatural is a smart, entertaining, action packed thrill ride. The camaraderie of the 2 stars of the show is genuine and one of the things that makes the show the great show that it is. You just can’t fake chemistry like that!
The show also has some of the funniest scenes that I have seen on a show in a long time. The production crew that adds the classic rock tunes to the show really does a great job of pulling it all together, and let’s not forget the special effects people who do an awesome job delivering top notch effects for the show every week.
Supernatural is by far the only first rate show on the anything but first rate network The CW.I just can’t believe that the network doesn’t even promote this wonderful show, and now they are removing it from the schedule for a so called hiatus.
Why would they take off a show with such a strong fan base? With the writers strike going on this is the perfect time for Supernatural to gain new viewers. Repeating season one and two shows would be a great way to introduce the show to an all new audience. Believe me I saw for myself at the November convention that not only do we as fans love are show we also have the buying power to make the sponsors happy. This is something the suits at the CW need to be aware of. The fans are dedicated and willing to shell out big bucks for this show and it’s sponsors. I can understand if they want to give Reaper a shot at the Thursday suicide spot ,but there has to be another night where Supernatural reruns can be shown.
When I was at the convention and the boys received those special medals from the Army Special Forces it was great publicity for the CW. What other show on that network(or any other for that matter) can boast being the favorite of our troops over in Iraq? Why would the CW remove such a gem of a show? This just does not make any sense to me and all the other fans.Wise up CW and put Supernatural back in the line up and give this gem of a show the respect it deserves!!!Supernatural has been under rated and under appreciated far too long!

I’ve never been one to get into a series I would rather watch a movie.Until I watched the first episode of supernatural. after that i was hooked.I’ve gotten my mother, family, and friends all hooked on supernatural.
Last thursday, I missed my first episode “ghostfacers’ because I thought that reaper show was on and i was very upset. I wish there was repeats.
If they where to take supernatural off the air not only would I not get into another series but I would watch cw anymore.
I switched cable companys and I made it clear that i don’t care about the other chanels I just wanted to be able to watch my supernatural.
