Sam Winchester: Journey into Night?
Poor Sammy. He’s been through it all. His mom was taken from him on the day he turned six months old. [How the heck did that Yellow-Eyed Demon keep track of all those birthdays before Palms and Crackberries?] He traveled around the country in the back of the Impala, while his dad hunted things that went bump in the night. He lost his girlfriend, Jess, in the pilot, thanks again to the Yellow-Eyed Demon. He died, last year. His brother made a crossroads deal that brought him back, but now, he’s going to lose his brother. Oi! Then there were the years of teasing by his older brother. In Asylum, he revealed to Dean that he had dreams that came true. Later, Dean, in his trademark wit asked, “Hey Sam, who do you think is a hotter psychic? Patricia Arquette, Jennifer Love Hewitt, or you?” Of course, he was comparing Sam to Ghost Whisperer’s Melinda Gordon, and Medium’s Alison Dubois.
Now, Eric Kripke and Jared Padalecki, recently, have been talking a lot about Sam’s developments in upcoming episodes. We’re going to see more and more of the darker side of Sam. Are we going to see that Sam is really part demon, somehow? Are we going to find out that John Winchester is not really Sam’s biological father?
What are we going to find out about Mary Winchester? Does she have some kind of good, paranormal background? Is she some kind of angel? Did she know the YED, before she met John Winchester?
It’s time to scour the rest of the Supernatural-verse looking for more clues! Where’s that comic…?
Chime in, and let’s hear what you think is going to happen. We’ve got loads of time to examine, frame-by-frame, episodes on DVD, and ponder every nuance of Kripke’s cryptic interview answers. What do you think is going to happen to Sam? And with all this, how is he going to help Dean? Is Ruby going to take out Bela, then save Dean herself, right before knocking some sense into Sam? Is Alison Dubois going to have to tell Sam what his mother thinks of his actions? Or is Melinda Gordon going to have to do it?

I hope that John Winchester is Sam’s real father. I mean in my heart I believe that Sam is and always will be a real Winchester. The fact that Mary sacrificed herself trying to save baby Sammy, and the fact that the YED gave Sam a bit of his demonic blood was to control Sam and turn him into something he was not born to be. What I want to know about …in the season 3 cliff hanger is WHO WAS MARY? And How is Sam going to keep Dean from going to Hell, or if Dean does go to Hell…how is Sam going to get him out? And will one of the two new regular girls die in the last episode of season 3. I hope so!

I think that John is Sam’s biological father but I think that they don’t know that. My theory is that Bobby thinks he is the father of Sam and thats why in the last season3 episode he says “family reaches father than blood” maybe he thinks he IS blood. I do think Mary had some paranormal past. I think she may have had an affair with Yellow-Eyes and maybe even he is Sam;s father. You never know all in good time we will find out!
