I’ve seen a bit of gnashing of teeth about the French film Taken on the internet. It looks like a good film, very dark, and a great thriller. Liam Neeson is a former spy, Bryan, whose daughter (played by Maggie Grace) is abducted in Paris. Bryan goes on a manhunt to find her. With this great cast, and the info from the synopses and trailers, I can see why people are champing at the bit to see it, here in the States.
According to IMDB, though, it looks like the film is to hit screens in the States 19 September 2008. …read more

If you’re hoping to pre-order your tickets to Eyecon 2008 in Orlando, Florida, you have about a week to do so online. At this stage, most of the top level tickets are gone, but you can still buy basic daily and weekend tickets, plus passes to many of the individual features, appearances, and shows.

Our man, Jensen Ackles has reported been househunting, lately. And he’s not alone. His girlfriend, One Tree Hill’s Danneel Harris, has been with him.
I know there are many disappointed young women out there. We know that, in real life, these are likable, stable people. I know some of you, though, are hoping that the on-screen issues of Dean and his relationship issues, along with Rachel Gatina’s recent time in rehab, would work together to make Jensen available once more.

Well, despite warnings from Sam and Dean about the grave dangers posed by the images on their website, way back in Supernatural episode 1.17 Hell House, Harry Spangler and Ed Zeddmore have yet to take down their site Hellhound’s Lair.
As you may recall from that episode, the mystical image in view on one of their pages has the power to make the urban legends believed by anyone looking at it to become real. The most recent campaign at Fandom Rocks ended a couple weeks ago. From Supernatural fans’ generous donations, the group raised $2,350. The proceeds will be split evenly, and delivered by hand to the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund and Lawrence Humane Society.
Great going to everyone who participated, and to Fandom Rocks for such a great effort!
Yesterday, they ended the voting for the recipient charities for Campaign Number 3. They should begin working toward the next goal, soon. Supernatural fans will again prove what a great lot they are!

In addition to the usual fair, randomly inserted bonus cards, including autograph cards, puzzle cards, and costume-piece cards. Most of these feature cards will be distributed 1 in every 24 packs.

This time they are working on the pilot for a new show, Ghostfacers, and, like all their competition, they now have more crew members, Corbett, Harry’s sister, Maggie, and, enormous cameraman, Spruce.
