Supernatural’s Meg –Nicki Aycox- Star of Animals
Currently in post-production, Animals features Nicki Aycox and Marc Blucas (of Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 4 fame).
In the movie, Syd Jarrett (Marc Blucas –and, gee, who could that name refer to? Thinly veiled, but I think I like it)… anyway… Syd is a small town guy, for whom everything seems to have gone wrong lately. Despondent, he shuts down, and gives up on any hopes he had for his life. When he meets Nora (Nicki Aycox), he gets tangled up in a world of shapeshifters, some of whom are more at home in their animal selves than in their human selves. As Syd’s problems worsen, his newfound world leads him to find hope in his true love, Jane (Eva Amurri).
There’s not a lot of other info for this movie yet. The different people involved seem to be letting out scant, and seemingly contradictory details. I think it’s a ploy to make us want to see the movie. It’s working on me. Having Marc Blucas and Eva Amurri –she won me over in Saved- in the cast helps. Did I mention how funny and cool Eva Amurri was in Saved?
