Salute to Supernatural Video: Jared-Sandra Split Announcement
Not to beat this thing to death, but here is a video of Jared Padalecki’s announcement about the breakup with Sandra McCoy.
Various rumors are running around on the forums and blogosphere. According to Padalecki, though, this was an amicable split, they are both fine, and this is just not the time for them.
Padalecki and McCoy have been together a long time in Hollywood terms (or Vancouver terms). So, their relationship was looking strong, considering the odds. Unfortunately, it’s very difficult to manage an early film career and an intimate personal life. The strain of being separated for long periods, and watching where each of their lives are going is a big obstacle. Since the gossip machine is so pervasive, I would hold onto what we know for sure, until other announcements are made. It’s such a shame to watch the horror that couples go through. Jared and Sandra are both very graceful, though, and I expect they’ll handle this better than most.

I’am very sad that they broke up…like all other Supernatural fans. It will take awhile for me to comprehend this breakup. I mean he is a nice special guy and she is a sweet heart…they have been together for four years and share family and friends into their circle of life. Maybe when he sees her with someone else and she sees him with another woman…maybe this is when the real pain of breaking up will be felt. Life goes on and God Bless them both. Jared loves to play chess …but in my heart I think he just made a wrong move…and Sandy wants to go on with her career….but at what price. A broken heart takes a longgggggggg time to heal.
