TV Guide’s Michael Ausiello reported last month that hit CW show Smallville has cast the character that murders Superman, at least in the comics. Sam Witwer is an actor with rock solid sci-fi ties, formerly playing Alex “Crashdown” Quartararo on Battlestar Galactica. He also provides the voice for Darth Vader’s apprentice in the much anticipated [...]

This past weekend’s big sci-fi release - wasn’t so big. While the truth may still be out there, not a lot of moviegoers were interested in finding it. The X-Files: I Want to Believe bowed in fourth place with only $10.2 million. It garnered mixed reviews and Fox execs are still trying to put [...]

A year ago, I was standing outside of the press room at Comic Con waiting for my first interview with the cast and creators of Supernatural. It was while I was standing there that I began to hear the rumble, someone was late. . . no, someone was missing. . . someone missed his [...]

I’ll take Joss Whedon at his word when he says the pilot reshoot for Dollhouse is not a big deal. But come on, it is Fox, with the blood from New Amsterdam still fresh on their axe.
Fox can’t blame fans of Whedon and Firely if they’re a little antsy about hearing Dollhouse is getting some [...]

The cast of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles were looking mighty piraty as they descended upon the Fox booth after their panel at Comic Con.
Creator Friedman promised that “The second-season John Connor is nothing like the first-season John Connor,” and that he’s going to get out from under mommy’s thumb for a bit.
But the [...]

AMC played their own little marketing game (Fox also did this with Fringe) at Comic Con to create buzz for their remake of the 1960’s cult classic The Prisoner.
Attendees were provided with cryptic puzzle cards, which when decoded drove participants to SeekTheSix.com where they were told to ‘seek the six’ in order to reveal [...]

CBS.com has added some of the fully remastered episodes of the original Star Trek to their new HD gallery. Yes, they’re streaming online, but the quality is amazing. A wider screen, sharper colors, sound quality is probably better but not so that I’d notice on my cheap headphones.
Right now you can choose from [...]

“He’s like a career brassiere.”
(This story is interrupted to bring you a 5.8 earthquake. Yikes! Now that my blood is rushing.)
That’s Eliza Dushku’s take on Joss Whedon according to an article in TVWeek. Joss counters by saying that “Dollhouse” is basically a documentary based on Eliza’s many personalities.
Yeah, it sounds like it’s going [...]

Sunday was Supernatural day at Comic Con and myself and a few other reporters got to have a little five-on-one with Kripke and the boys.
Claiming to be sleep-deprived (they shot until 3 am on Saturday and had to be up nearly that early on Sunday to make Comic Con), but looking terrific nonetheless, Jensen [...]
