On the banner page, Eric Kripke’s introduction statement promises that future issues will delve into the many “real” legends, urban and otherwise, behind many Supernatural stories. If the lack of juicy spoiler leaks has you champing at the bit for some Supernatural bits, Harper Entertainment and writer Keith R. A. DeCandido come to the rescue. Supernatural’s premiere novelization, “Supernatural: Nevermore“, arrived on shelves August 1. It’s a tad light on subject matter, but delivers a fix that manages not to tread upon the TV show’s Season 2 subject matter too hard. Supernatural Origins #4 hit the stands on August 1. There are some stunning graphics, and the story really brings home the tragedy from Supernatural Episode 1 that makes this series so compelling. The comic explores John Winchester’s love for his wife Mary, and his overwhelming obsession with discovering her killer.
Even if you’re not a diehard comics fan, the storylines in the comic are a welcome treat for fans of the Supernatural story.

The internets are abuzz. Okay, at least Amazon still indicates that Supernatural Season 2 on DVD will be available on September 11. Before the twists of Season 3 begin, you’ll be able to watch the Winchesters take on the demon they’ve sought for over two decades, whenever your heart desires.
