Supernatural Scoop

Supernatural has had numerous return appearances in it’s past three seasons. Most of them have been incredibly satisfying, bringing back favorites, like John Winchester and Mary Winchester, as well as fellow hunters. Then, there is the return of the misguided “ghose hunters”, Harry Spangler and Ed Zeddmore, when they take their antics up a notch with a team, in their new show pilot Ghostfacers. Of course, there have been some returning demons, and, naturally, some not-so-welcome federal agents and hunter returns, like Agent Henriksen and the obsessive Gordon.

Despite spoilers to the contrary (see Sera Gamble interview), Samantha Ferris’ blog reports that Ellen Harvelle will not likely return, this season. Apparently, the offer that the producers gave her could “cost her money and work”. I can only speculate that she means that the time that they would need her, for just a few minutes, in one episode would have paid her considerably less than the work she could do in the time that the shooting would keep her away from other work. Firefox News had an email chat with Supernatural’s writer extraordinaire, Sera Gamble. She talks freely about being on strike, and having the chance to write without staying in the bounds of wide marketability.
Gamble also spills some spoilers for the rest of the season, as well as her thoughts on the potential for Season Four. That nagging question about Ruby and Bela, and the fans’ strong feelings about them. You might have missed the convention in Chicago, this month. You may have cried over not being to Comic-Con, this summer. Well, dab some Preparation H under those eyes, and get your credit cards ready, Babies! This coming April’s EyeCon Orlando 2008 is going to feature three from the gang at the “Blow’d up, Sir!” Harvelle Roadhouse.
