Help Make “All Hell Breaks Loose: Supernatural Australian Convention” Happen

Many of our Australian friends love the show Supernatural, and are working hard to lure a Supernatural Convention down-under. Australians, New Zealanders, Tasmanians, and any other South Pacific island fans deserve the opportunity to see the wonderful actors, writers and creator of the show in the flesh. If you’d like to see a convention in Australia, please help make it happen by signing the petition to help make a Supernatural convention a possibility. For you Amero-, Euro-, Afro-, Asiatic, diehard fans, who manage to make it to most if not all the conventions, wouldn’t an Australian convention be an awesome …read more

Supernatural Discussion: Episode 3.16 No Rest for the Wicked

Supernatural Discussion: Episode 3.16 No Rest for the Wicked

The finale finally hit us. Dean’s contract came due. Lilith wasn’t nearly defeated, and any damage that did befall her was definitely too late.

Two words: Bon, Jovi. Nice, weird touch, Mr. Kripke.
I’ve wished all season that Dean would have given Sam more credit, and trust that Ruby really did want to help them. You had to question her motives, yes, but they’ve had to compromise to get what they wanted before.
How about that Dean vs. Ruby fight in the opening of the episode? It was quick, but exciting, no?
This whole episode was so incredibly tense. I should have put a …read more

Dean’s Fate on Supernatural Finale “No Rest for the Wicked”

Dean’s Fate on Supernatural Finale “No Rest for the Wicked”

This week, we come to the long-anticipated end of Dean’s contract. The spoilers and trailers lead us to believe that Dean really does die. They don’t, however, reveal whether he stays dead for any period of time. Of course, those trailer scenes are usually misleading.
I, for one, think about these things a lot. I also drink –as many writers do- a bit too much coffee and soda. So, let’s take a little walk down the “What’s going to happen” lane.
If only Sam could make the same deal that Dean did. They could just leap frog, year after year. You save …read more

Supernatural Discussion: 3.15 – Time is on My Side

As usual, the writers and creative staff have delivered an exciting episode of Supernatural.

Was this another low Impala Factor episode, or what?
Low Impala Factor —> Low Classic Rock Factor. Discuss.
Man, that deal just won’t go away. What was he thinking?!?
Bela. Bela’s dad. Tonight, on a very special Supernatural…
That Rufus makes me so angry!
I know it’s fiction. Did you believe, though, that keeping Dean alive a la Benton would really keep him out of Hell? Lilith is a bada** demon, after all. Surely, after a few thousand years, she’s learned a thing or two.
Does that Benton Method of buying Dean some …read more

Supernatural Discussion: 3.14 Long-Distance Caller

This was a great episode, again. Let’s hear a little what you thought of it. Be sure to leave comments, at the end.

Did you prefer this episode to last week’s Ghostfacers?
Were you surprised how much this felt like a standalone episode?
Are you disappointed in how close they’re not getting to fixing Dean’s problem, at least up to this episode?
Did we learn anything that will help the boys defeat the demon?
What’s up with demons at the phone company, eh?
With only a couple more episodes left, and so little of Lilith, so far, are we headed for a cliff hanger?

Be sure to …read more

Supernatural Recap: 3.14 Long-Distance Caller

Supernatural Recap: 3.14 Long-Distance Caller

During a heavy rainstorm in Ohio, a man –Ben- takes a drink in his home. The phone rings. He answers, and a woman begs him to come to her. He mentions his wife, then refuses, begging her to leave him alone. She keeps calling back, even after he picks up the receiver, and tears the phone up. When the disconnected phone keeps ringing, he takes a revolver out of a drawer and shoots himself through the base of his jaw and through his head.
Sam meets up with Dean on a university campus. “The professor doesn’t know crap.” Dean tells Sam …read more
