Last week, The CW posted the official synopsis for the next new Supernatural episode, Ghostfacers.
Sam and Dean take a break from their usual gig to star in a gritty reality show called “Ghostfacers” which chronicles the pursuit of the paranormal. Ed Zeddmore (guest star A. J. Despite spoilers to the contrary (see Sera Gamble interview), Samantha Ferris’ blog reports that Ellen Harvelle will not likely return, this season. Apparently, the offer that the producers gave her could “cost her money and work”. I can only speculate that she means that the time that they would need her, for just a few minutes, in one episode would have paid her considerably less than the work she could do in the time that the shooting would keep her away from other work. Your cries have been heard. Thanks to the incredible fans of Supernatural, including the wonderful folks at Winchester Bros. and Supernatural.tv, the execs at The CW have announced that Supernatural will return, in reruns, on Thursday, April 3, 2008, at its usual time, 10PM/9PM CT.

TV Guide Canada, yesterday lists their picks for TV’s Top Ten Steamiest Love Scenes. Number Five on the list: Sam and Madison’s love scene in the werewolf episode from Season Two, Heart.
Of course, Carrie and Big from Sex in the City was way up there, too. They also didn’t forget Nathan and Haley’s “make-up” scenes from One Tree Hill.

The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films has announced the nominations for the 34th Annual Saturn Awards.Supernatural has, again, been nominated for Best Network Television Series. Once again, the series is up against Lost, who won in 2006.
Win or lose, though, being nominated is the sort of news that would make the network look foolish to put it on the chopping block.
