Supernatural Scoop

Supernatural has had numerous return appearances in it’s past three seasons. Most of them have been incredibly satisfying, bringing back favorites, like John Winchester and Mary Winchester, as well as fellow hunters. Then, there is the return of the misguided “ghose hunters”, Harry Spangler and Ed Zeddmore, when they take their antics up a notch with a team, in their new show pilot Ghostfacers. Of course, there have been some returning demons, and, naturally, some not-so-welcome federal agents and hunter returns, like Agent Henriksen and the obsessive Gordon.

Many of our Australian friends love the show Supernatural, and are working hard to lure a Supernatural Convention down-under. Australians, New Zealanders, Tasmanians, and any other South Pacific island fans deserve the opportunity to see the wonderful actors, writers and creator of the show in the flesh. If you’d like to see a convention in Australia, please help make it happen by signing the petition to help make a Supernatural convention a possibility. This year, we’ve seen some good, and some great new shows. The writers’ strike may have helped some of them, in a way, by giving the networks too little time to axe them, and percolate any new ideas for next season. As things go, though, some may rise, some may fall, and some may stay around plenty long to jump the shark in a season or two. And we’ve already seen a couple of shows dropped already.

The CW will air a rerun of Night Shifter (episode #2.12), so be sure to tune in starting 8/7C. Then stay tuned for episode #3.12 “Jus in Bello” the last of the four scheduled episodes, until it returns on April 24 with an expected 4 new episodes. Check out the promo for Nightshifter.

Watch Supernatural, tonight. Tell all your friends to tune in, tonight, for the last pre-break, completed-before-the-strike, end-of-sweeps, Supernatural episode!
We need to make sure that The CW knows that they’re sitting on one of the best shows on television. Being that this is also sweeps, it will send the message to the advertisers, as well. This would, in turn, raise the premium for advertising during the show. Then, the show would earn more; the great creative minds, actors, technical people, and everyone involved with the show would garner some much deserved kudos, and financial reward. The CW has confirmed that the network will air four to five new episodes of Supernatural, this season, in addition to the two new episodes that will air this week and next.
Eric Kripke, as late as last week, said that they were considering whether to air new episodes in April/May, or to hold them for the summer, or even until next Autumn. We fans, though, are dying to see what happens next!
