The CW has announced that Supernatural and Smallville will both premiere for the upcoming season on Thursday, September 18, 2008. This is slightly early for both shows, but nothing like the premieres for shows like the new 90210, as well as One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl. Those shows will begin the first week of September, right after Labor Day. The network plans to begin shows even earlier in coming years, assuming that they survive this season.

This is a vague enough spoiler to make you Dean lovers sweat along with him. Do the three to four months over the summer count? Do we have to wait for Dean to come back, even after we waited for the first episode of Season 4? Either way, we have to wonder what Dean will be like, when he finally gets back.

What about that Ruby? Sent away to a bad place, eh. That Lilith. Always kidding. Oh, Kripke, what the heck is going to go down for the next two seasons, now that Sam has his tasty, new mojo working for him?

In No Rest for the Wicked Clip 1, Sam (Jared Padalecki) is assuring Dean that he’s not going to go to Hell. When Dean looks at Sam, he gets a spooky glimpse of Sam’s face distorting into some demonic form. So, let the creep fest begin…

In No Rest for the Wicked Clip 2, Dean tells off Ruby, and tells Sam that she’s trying to trick him. Ruby is adamant that she can help Sam use his psychic, demon powers to destroy Lilith, and save Dean. Dean punches her, and the real action begins!

So, grab your lucky charms and rub, “Please, don’t be a cliffhanger. Please, don’t be a cliffhanger…”

Since last weekend, Supernatural’s Australian home, Channel Ten, has had an ear- and eye-full of Jensen Ackles. Luckily, they’re willing to share him back. The Channel Ten website has plenty of great new Jensen Ackles video kit for us to help check in on his romp to Australia’s sunny shores. [where he's inclined to roam.]

This morning –in Australia- Jensen spoke with David & Kim, presenters for the morning show 9am with David & Kim on Channel Ten. [Seriously!]

From “9am”:

• David asks about doing back to back interviews, and answering the same questions time and again.
• Asked about coming from Texas, and having to move to pursue an acting career.
• Moved to California at 18, and hung a giant TX flag in his window.
• First time in Sydney, second time in Australia.
• How did you get the job portraying such a “sexy, sharp, witty, and badass”?
• Originally was to read for Sam, but, after reading the script, Jensen fell in love with “crazy, nutty” Dean.
• Sets the record straight on Bela and Ruby’s not being love interests.
• “What’s the deal with your car?” “It has a fanbase of its own!” The starting block to a great verbal intercourse:
  • David: “Plenty of room for a body in the boot?”
  • Jensen: “Plenty of room for a body in the boot. That’s right.”
  • Kim: “And a few bodies in the back seat, I reckon!” Careful, Kim!
• Timeframe for new episodes, now that the Writers’ Strike has ended! [Yippee, again!]
• Jensen is enjoying the wonderful Sydney restaurants.
