Dean and Sam Winchester check out the so-called Pay-It-Forward Demon at Starbucks

Last week, at Starbucks across the United States, people have been paying for the person behind in the drive-thru. The recipient of the free coffee gets to the window to pay, and finds out that his coffee is paid. So, he pays for the lady behind him, She pays for the person behind her, and so on.

As we count the last few days before Season Three begins, I thought I’d open up and confess a few of my favorite episodes of Supernatural. You may notice a theme that would indicate why I might be excited that Season Three will be more like Season One.

1.01 Pilot
I really did like the pilot. I thought it was a good story, and actually touching. I was convinced by the brothers display of tension, sprinkled with a distant brotherly love and concern.

Erik Kripke spoke to SCI FI Wire, laying out more fine tidbits for my Supernatural loving friends. This should be a good sampling to make you anxious for the October 4 season premiere. Mr. Kripke doesn’t divulge everything, but he does reveal some interesting plans for Season 3, including a “Christmas” episode:

The men of Supernatural opened up to Christine Kilpatrick of People Magazine. Jeffrey Dean Morgan, it seems, is quite a character, largely kidding and goofing on his co-stars. In this interview, he definitely proves that he can dish out the kidding –I hope. Of course, from what I’ve seen and heard from Jensen Ackles and Jared Padelecki, they can dish it out, as well. Perhaps that dynamic is part of what makes this show so enjoyable.

Spring 2007 was brutal to many of us TV drama fans. Especially for those who were hooked on the best of The CW’s evening lineup. For different reasons, two of my favorite CW shows, Veronica Mars and Gilmore Girls were canceled. Alas. Supernatural, though often rumored to be on the block, still stands.
