This year, we’ve seen some good, and some great new shows. The writers’ strike may have helped some of them, in a way, by giving the networks too little time to axe them, and percolate any new ideas for next season. As things go, though, some may rise, some may fall, and some may stay around plenty long to jump the shark in a season or two. And we’ve already seen a couple of shows dropped already.

Looks like Dean is going to have some trouble with the demon who stole his soul last season. A casting call has gone out for that very demon, and she just so happens to be in her midtwenties, gorgeous and seductive. I’ve got two words for you, Eric Kripke: Bianca. Lawson.
Supernatural Summer 2007 Sizzled with Excitement and Worry
Spring 2007 was brutal to many of us TV drama fans. Especially for those who were hooked on the best of The CW’s evening lineup. For different reasons, two of my favorite CW shows, Veronica Mars and Gilmore Girls were canceled. Alas. Supernatural, though often rumored to be on the block, still stands.
Fans buzzed about on the forums wondering if new developments would ruin our cherised Supernatural. New female characters, and the potential that they would OneTreeHillify or ScoobyDooize the show, worried many. It worried me a bit.
