]]> Mercedes McNab –Buffy veteran, and erstwhile Supernatural vampire- appears as Tara Leslie in the upcoming film Dark Reel. The film is a supernatural thriller, based on the real-life 1958 murder of actress Scarlett May.

In Dark Reel, a B-movie fan wins a walk-on role in a new horror film. When filming begins, though, the murder of one of the actresses, the investigation, the knowledge that a murderer is on the loose, and the film’s new notoriety, cause a real stir for the cast and crew.

The film stars Tiffany Shepis, Tony Todd, Edward Furlong and Lance Henriksen. No release date has been announced, yet.
