Eric Kripke Reveals More to StarPulse: Spinoff? Winchester and Colt Origins?

Last week, Angie Rentmeester and Noelle Talmon of StarPulse spoke with Eric Kripke. The interview delves into a few places we haven’t seen before:

Kripke talks about his vision of Supernatural as a modern-day western.
Kripke and the writers often talk about a spinoff possibility about Sam Colt and a bunch of 19th century hunters in the U.S. West.
In Jus in Bello we meet the big bad demon that replaces the Yellow Eyed Demon, that we’ve heard about; the one that the demon “Casey” told Dean about in Sin City. This demon sees Sam as competition, so watch out, boys!
He emphasizes that …read more

Watch with Kristin Spills Tidbits on Jus in Bello from Eric Kripke

Eric Kripke confided with Kristin Dos Santos of Watch with Kristin, recently, with some mild spoiler info. In a quick blurb, after airing short interviews with One Tree Hill’s James Lafferty and Lost’s Mattew Fox, Kristin said that Kripke told her this week’s episode Jus in Bello is not to be missed.
As we’ve suspected from the Latin title –meaning “justice/rights/law in war”- Kripke told Kristin, that we’re going to see the first salvos leading into a longer war with the demons. It isn’t clear that this begins in Jus in Bello, but he indicated that we’re due to learn …read more

Eric Kripke – BuddyTV Exclusive Interview

John Kubicek at BuddyTV got to spend some time with Eric Kripke, and gave him a thorough interrogation to clear up a lot of questions we all have following the airing of Malleus Maleficarum. Oi! The new demons were once all humans, and had their humanity burned away over several centuries in the pits of Hell. Now, they’re back, and they drive up and down the Santa Ana Freeway.
Anyway, back now. John talks to Kripke about:

The centuries in hell burning off our humanity thing, of course.
Sam and his not-so-Sam mal-actions.
The Dean and Ruby connection and “sorry can’t help” deal.
That pesky …read more

Supernatural Creator Eric Kripke Talks to TV.com

Eric Kripke talked to our friend Tim Surette, at TV.com, last week, and spilled a little more about the last four completed episodes.
From the interview:

That delightful maggot-filled fast food scene from last week’s Malleus Maleficarum episode. [Hamburger, he says, but it sure looked like a wrap to me. I'll have to watch again.]
Kripke admits that all the upcoming episodes are big.
The significance of the demon mythology revealed in Malleus Maleficarum
Dream a Little Dream of Me as an homage to Dreamscape.
The Groundhog Day look at Mystery Spot.
Kripke’s very strong feelings about [probably] ending Season 3 with Jus in Bello.
How many …read more

More Sneak Peakage at Malleus Maleficarum and Eric Kripke on Watch with Kristin

Eric Kripke spoke with Kristin at E!online, and shared his thoughts on how this season is going. He doesn’t spill too much on the grander story arc, and the fact that it’s almost surely going to run over Season 4, but he does talk about Bela and Ruby. He also talks about how adventure and plot packed these four upcoming episodes will be. Of course, they discuss the news that the nice, “open”, lucrative 9PM Thursday slot is not going to have new Lost episodes for them to contend with. We know, as Eric Kripke does, that Supernatural fans are …read more
