Supernatural has won Best Overall 2007 Science Fiction Film or Television Script in the Canadian Constellation Awards. The Constellations, Canada’s Fan Awards for Excellence in Science Fiction Television and Film, had also nominated Supernatural in the categories:

Best Male Performance in a 2007 Science Fiction Television Episode – Jared Padalecki.
Best Male Performance in a 2007 Science Fiction Television Episode – Jensen Ackles.
Best Science Fiction Television Series of 2007.

Fandom Rocks Rocks! Over $2,000 Raised of Charities

The most recent campaign at Fandom Rocks ended a couple weeks ago. From Supernatural fans’ generous donations, the group raised $2,350. The proceeds will be split evenly, and delivered by hand to the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund and Lawrence Humane Society.
Great going to everyone who participated, and to Fandom Rocks for such a great effort!
Yesterday, they ended the voting for the recipient charities for Campaign Number 3. They should begin working toward the next goal, soon. Supernatural fans will again prove what a great lot they are!

With the end of new Supernatural episodes drawing near, The CW has already announced that they will put the show on hiatus to help Reaper, and other new fare.
Supernatural fans want NONE of that! While Erik Kripke and his team of daredevil promoters may be doing what they can to keep Supernatural on the air, the show’s fans, like Team Winchester.com, have taken it up a notch with online petitions to air Supernatural reruns.

Supernatural” fans have recently proven to be a remarkable group. Remarkably generous, that is. Raising funds on the internet through the site Fandom-Rocks, fans of the show generated over $2000, and split it between international charity SOS Children’s Villages and the Lawrence Community Shelter.
