Jensen Ackles, our own Dean Winchester who is currently “sitting” in Hell, stars in the upcoming movie My Bloody Valentine 3-D. The film, a remake of the 1981 film, is currently filming outside Pittsburgh, PA.

Jared Padalecki has landed the lead role in an upcoming Paramount remake of the horror classic Friday the 13th. Jason Voorhees may not have made it into an episode of Supernatural, as we were once told, but Padalecki will play the character who tries to determine what has happened up at Crystal Lake.
They plan to release the film, Friday, 13th February 2009. I can’t wait!

Our man, Jared Padalecki, who is so dedicated to his fans, will take the stage and floor again at Fangoria’s Weekend of Horrors in Austin, TX. The man’s commitment to his loyal fans, and his eagerness to appear at horror, fantasy, and science fiction conventions to show his appreciation is amazing.
The event takes place January 18-20, 2008, and features other notable figures. Among them are Planet Terror’s Robert Rodriguez, Angela Bettis, and Leatherface himself, Bill Johnson.

If you’re like me, and have largely avoided the post-grunge MTV, you might have missed Jared Padalecki’s new show “Room 401″. In Punk’d style, the show, a creation of Ashton Kutcher, traps unsuspecting victims into participating in mini horror scenarios. After only five episodes, it looks like a fun romp, especially if you’re a horror and reality TV buff.
Of course, rumours abound about this being a sign that Jared Padalecki knows something about the odds of Supernatural seeing a fourth season. I wouldn’t read too much into it, but time will certainly tell.
