Jared Padalecki at Supanova Sydney 2008 – Video Interview

Supanova posted a video of Supernatural’s Jared Padalecki, along with Jewel Staite of Stargate: Atlantis. They both have interesting things to say about the crowds, and how great it is to meet the fans. They both also said they jump at the chance to go to Australia. Well, we know for sure that Australia loves them, as well.
Check out the video at Supanova. You may need to scroll down a bit to see it.
If you went to Supanova Sydney, in June, let us know what you thought. Be sure to leave a comment with your take on the event.

Sera Gamble Interview at the BBC

Sera Gamble Interview at the BBC

Supernatural’s supervising producer and writer, Sera Gamble spoke, recently, with Karen Rollins of BBC News. Rollins brought a unique perspective to the interview, and brought out a few details that we don’t usually hear about in Sera Gamble, or other writer, discussions.
There’s a reason she’s one of my favorite interviewees. As an example, to differentiate Supernatural from other television paranormal fare, Gamble notes, “when our characters find a ghost, they don’t talk to it – they shoot it in the face.”

If you love Supernatural, and you enjoy digging into the behind-the-scenes details of the show, then you’re probably familiar with writer Sera Gamble. As writer or story editor for most of the series, so far, she has to take at least some of the blame for elevating out fears of cannibals, big country lakes, mirrors, clowns, falling in love with werewolves, mausoleums, and –now- melon ballers.
She shares her take on season 3, and teases us about season 4, in her interview with Alice Jester at BlogCritics.com. She does touch on some spoilers …read more

Jensen Ackles Interview with TV Week in Australia

Jensen Ackles Interview with TV Week in Australia

On his recent trip to Australia, Jensen Ackles spoke to TV Week.
Try to keep your demeanor, but the cheeky interviewer spends a bit of time seemingly trying to talk Jensen Ackles into taking his shirt off on the show. Well, there is plenty of talk. That would be too much like his days as Eric on Days of Our Lives.
He talks, too, about the woman in his life, as well as the “girls who follow him around”, that he claims never to see, and the nightmares he no longer has. And the other rumors, oi!
So, check out Dean Deconstructed at …read more

Eric Kripke Reveals More to StarPulse: Spinoff? Winchester and Colt Origins?

Eric Kripke Reveals More to StarPulse: Spinoff? Winchester and Colt Origins?

Last week, Angie Rentmeester and Noelle Talmon of StarPulse spoke with Eric Kripke. The interview delves into a few places we haven’t seen before:

Kripke talks about his vision of Supernatural as a modern-day western.
Kripke and the writers often talk about a spinoff possibility about Sam Colt and a bunch of 19th century hunters in the U.S. West.
In Jus in Bello we meet the big bad demon that replaces the Yellow Eyed Demon, that we’ve heard about; the one that the demon “Casey” told Dean about in Sin City. This demon sees Sam as competition, so watch out, boys!
He emphasizes that …read more

Eric Kripke – BuddyTV Exclusive Interview

John Kubicek at BuddyTV got to spend some time with Eric Kripke, and gave him a thorough interrogation to clear up a lot of questions we all have following the airing of Malleus Maleficarum. Oi! The new demons were once all humans, and had their humanity burned away over several centuries in the pits of Hell. Now, they’re back, and they drive up and down the Santa Ana Freeway.
Anyway, back now. John talks to Kripke about:

The centuries in hell burning off our humanity thing, of course.
Sam and his not-so-Sam mal-actions.
The Dean and Ruby connection and “sorry can’t help” deal.
That pesky …read more
