No Go for Deadwood with Jim Beaver

It doesn’t look like HBO’s Deadwood, featuring Supernatural’s Jim Beaver, will see another new episode. According to TV Guide’s Matt Roush, the network is not planning on bringing any more of the show to your small screen. “I think it’s safe to report to you that the likelihood of the Deadwood movie happening is slim to none,” quips HBO’s co-president Richard Plepler.
Ah, well. Tomorrow’s another day for the fickle fate of fresh frontier fare.

Sterling K. Brown, Supernatural’s own, over the top crazy to the point of evil, Gordon Walker, has signed on to appear at this year’s Asylum in Birmingham. That makes for a very good showing of Supernatural actors at the upcoming event.

Who is Bobby Singer?

Bobby Singer. Man about… country.
Known for his love of flannel shirts, Bobby is a long-time friend of John Winchester. He’s a hunter, like the Winchesters, but he and John had a falling out, sometime before the series began.
