Ruby is Fans’ Favorite New Supernatural Female

Ruby is Fans’ Favorite New Supernatural Female

Okay. After all of last summer’s teeth gnashing, and snarling, and bitter worry over Supernatural’s new women, Season 3 is complete. Ruby and Bela have come –and gone, thanks to Lilith.
For the past week, we’ve polled our readers on who they liked best –Ruby, Bela, or Lilith. The results: Ruby is soundly trouncing Bela and Lilith. Currently, with 96 votes, Ruby has 57.
I have to admit, I agree. I began the season, fully thinking, “Bela is more serious looking. She’s smart. She’s crafty. She’s a thorn in the boys’ sides.” Once things got rolling, though, Ruby, the nice demon, turned …read more

Supernatural Discussion: Episode 3.16 No Rest for the Wicked

The finale finally hit us. Dean’s contract came due. Lilith wasn’t nearly defeated, and any damage that did befall her was definitely too late.

Two words: Bon, Jovi. Nice, weird touch, Mr. Kripke.
I’ve wished all season that Dean would have given Sam more credit, and trust that Ruby really did want to help them. You had to question her motives, yes, but they’ve had to compromise to get what they wanted before.
How about that Dean vs. Ruby fight in the opening of the episode? It was quick, but exciting, no?
This whole episode was so incredibly tense. I should have put a …read more

Supernatural First Look: 3.16 – No Rest For The Wicked – Season Finale!

I can’t wait for the season finale of Supernatural, No Rest for the Wicked. This promises to be so packed with action and emotional energy, a few diehard fans might explode on the couch. Here are a couple of clips, a little later than we usually see them, but we have them now. Eat them up, digest, leave some comments expressing your thoughts, your worries, …read more

Dean’s Fate on Supernatural Finale “No Rest for the Wicked”

Dean’s Fate on Supernatural Finale “No Rest for the Wicked”

This week, we come to the long-anticipated end of Dean’s contract. The spoilers and trailers lead us to believe that Dean really does die. They don’t, however, reveal whether he stays dead for any period of time. Of course, those trailer scenes are usually misleading.
I, for one, think about these things a lot. I also drink –as many writers do- a bit too much coffee and soda. So, let’s take a little walk down the “What’s going to happen” lane.
If only Sam could make the same deal that Dean did. They could just leap frog, year after year. You save …read more

Supernatural Season Three Close and A Little Talk About Lilith

Supernatural Season Three Close and A Little Talk About Lilith

In episode 3.13, Jus in Bello, we met Lilith, the new big bad in the Supernatural-verse. What we saw wasn’t pretty, especially since Kripke and friends pulled the old “pretty but creepy little girl” card, putting Lilith in the form of a sweet-looking lass. Unfortunately for all the boys nice new friends in local and federal law enforcement, the sweet eyes and shiny hair gave way to the hand that makes the whole building go boom.
So, after the Ghost Hunters tribute episode, Ghostfacers, that gives us a little needed breather, we’ll turn headlong into the last three episodes of all …read more
