]]> Jared Padalecki has landed the lead role in an upcoming Paramount remake of the horror classic Friday the 13th. Jason Voorhees may not have made it into an episode of Supernatural, as we were once told, but Padalecki will play the character who tries to determine what has happened up at Crystal Lake.

They plan to release the film, Friday, 13th February 2009. I can’t wait!
