He lets another less dangerous detainee go.

Henrikson believes the demon attack was really part of a plot to break Sam and Dean out of jail, and was carried out by friends of theirs.

Supernatural and Smallville: The CW’s Girls of Thursday Night Promo
This week, The CW started a new promo “The Girls of Thursday Night”. Supernatural’s Bela (Lauren Cohan) and Ruby (Katie Cassidy) get plenty of coverage, as well as Smallville’s Kara (Laura Vandervoort). Smallville’s already existing cast members get quick flashes, so, obviously, they’re promoting the new blood on these shows. Are they, however, doing it in a way that best represents either show, particularly Supernatural.
Is this the exploitation that Supernatural fans feared back in July? Is this the Bela- and Ruby- mania that we loathe to see happen to the show?

Erik Kripke Spills About “Supernatural”
TV Guide has published a Q&A with Erik Kripke. He answers the burning questions that Supernatural fans had submitted to TV Guide.
Kripke talks about Mary Winchester’s background, not going where the Wendigo went, the YED (Yellow Eyed Demon), and the world of demon hunters that the boys meet. My favorite piece is on Bobby, a character that I’m glad they’re developing this season:
In Episode 10 of this season, Bobby will fall into a mysterious and seemingly incurable coma, and Sam and Dean will investigate in order to save their good friend… only to realize that a killer is attacking his …read more
Supernatural Effects: Ivan Hayden Explains Ruby’s Magic Knife
Check out this video from Supernatural Source. Ivan Hayden explains to Jason C. how they created the effects in the scene where Ruby (Katie Cassidy) helps Dean by killing a trio of demons…
I’m so inspired! To edit video like that, though, I might have to upgrade from my Pentium II 266, first.
What do you think about Supernatural’s special effects?
Supernatural 3.02 “The Kids Are Alright” Trailer
Here’s that swinging trailer on the next episode of Supernatural “The Kids are Alright”, airing October 11 at 9PM/8PM Central.
Stories like this, with little kids, tend to be very creepy. Buffy had a couple of them, and it’s a bit freaky when either the children are in danger, or they turn out to be the freaky bad guys.
Grab a cookie and watch:
What do you think? Creepy? Touching? What’s up with that background music?
