Genevieve Cortese (Wildfire) will appear in the Supernatural as a small-town waitress, who, apparently, became romantically involved with Sam Winchester, while Dean was busy in Hell. Of course, she will show up the season premiere, but there is still no news on any later appearances. I bet they’ll hold off and see, but, no matter what, I don’t see any relationships lasting for either boy.

I believe many fans will be comforted by the likelihood that a Dean-less few months is the only reason that Sam would be involved with anyone at this point. Once Dean is back, most fans will likely believe that it’s over for any woman on Supernatural, whether she’s an art dealer or werewolf, or not.

Not to stir up any more “women on Supernatural” backlash, but what do you think of this development?

Traci Dinwiddie will appear in the first episode of season four. Dinwiddie played Veronica in the movie The Notebook, and starred in one of my favorites of the theatre, Psycho Beach Party.

With Dean Winchester suffering in Hell, his brother Sam and their mentor and friend Bobby Singer must make due without him. Of course, they can’t help looking into what happened to him, and whether they can bring him back. In Lazarus Rising –episode 4.01- Bobby calls on his friend Pamela Barnes (Traci Dinwiddie) –”the best damn psychic in the state”- for assistance.

Pamela turns out to be a sexy, flirty, funny, forty-ish, psychic. She helps Sam and Bobby out by performing a séance to contact “someone” from the other side.

I smell trouble, which starts with “T”, and rhymes with “New Harmon-ee”, sort of. But, that spells TROUBLE! What do you think about this finale? What will happen? Who is going to die? Why do they have to die? How is it that they could avoid death? How badass are Lilith and her army, anyway? How the heck are they going to fight Lilith. Can Lilith do an Australian accent? “That’s not a knife.”

Besides having a title, now, there is a bit more of a spoiler for Supernatural episode 3.15.

• Dean questions a victim whose kidney was removed while awake.

New episodes begin again, this week. Are you excited to see Sam and Dean get it on with the demon world?

So, after the Ghost Hunters tribute episode, Ghostfacers, that gives us a little needed breather, we’ll turn headlong into the last three episodes of all Lilith and her fellow evil, all the time. Eric Kripke and Sera Gamble have promised that it’s not going to be pretty. Buffy fans remember seasons four, five, and six, where half of each season was spent fighting the unfightable. That’s what we’re likely to see in Lilith, just only in two or three episodes. Plus, now, they don’t have the Colt. Bela does, and she’s Kripke-knows-where. Of course, Dean will want to find and kill her. Sam, at this point, may or may not wish to stop him –depending on his frame of mind, at the time, especially his libido.

Ruby will be deep in the fight, and some speculate that we don’t really know what happened to Henriksen in the explosion. We only know that the news reported his death. Perhaps he’s gone rogue demon hunter, himself. More likely, though, he’s dead, but don’t put any of my hard earned cash on that.

Speaking of Henriksen, he and the demon horde in Jus in Bello were only the latest of the evils that Bela sent the boys’ way. That and her possession of the Colt, and her siccing Gordon on the boys, were more than enough to justify serious penalties from Sam and Dean, especially Dean.

So, enjoy the next couple of weeks of hard fought for reruns, then we’ll head into the fight.

• It sounds like Dean actually goes to Hell. So, this will mean needing to bring him back, somehow. This is unconfirmed, but big.
• Ellen Harvelle was supposed to come back, as the boys’ other many, still breathing, friends are. Last I heard, the deal did not work out with her.

After the light-hearted Ghostfacers, Supernatural returns to form with an episode about a Crocotta.

• Sam and Dean go to a town to hunt a Crocotta, who lures people into killing themselves, by posing as dead loved ones on the phone or computer.
• Once they off themselves, the Crocotta takes their souls.
• Dean learns something about the demon with the contract for his soul. The source is a special, and seemingly unlikely, surprise.
• Dean mistakenly goes after an innocent victim.

The boys from Hellhoundslair.com, Harry Spangler and Ed Zeddmore (Season 1 episode, Hell House), are back. This time they are working on the pilot for a new show, Ghostfacers, and, like all their competition, they now have more crew members, Corbett, Harry’s sister, Maggie, and, enormous cameraman, Spruce.

The Ghostfacers break into a notorious haunted house to investigate. Of course, they meet up with Sam and Dean, who must also be there to stop the “ghost echoes” of people’s deaths that are happening in the house. Sam and Corbett end up missing, in the house. Sam finds himself captive in some unknown room, but gets out. Corbett is not so lucky.

The Ghostfacers end up producing the pilot into a “tribute” to their fallen “intern”.
