Joss Whedon confirmed that Ms. Acker will portray Dr. Claire Saunders. Amy Acker was brilliant in her seventy episodes on Angel. I am very excited to see her as a regular on the small screen again, especially working with Joss Whedon. They are both amazing. I’m a huge fan on both counts.

24 fans will recognize another name on the cast list, Harry Lennix from that show’s sixth season.

Okay. This last casting tidbit, that Joss Whedon leaks so proudly on Whedonesque, has entrenched itself alongside all the other nonsense that pervades Jonathan’s soul. “November (who will be recurring but does not appear in the pilot) will be played by the luminous Miracle Laurie.”, riffs Whedon. A short stroll into the world of Miracle Laurie reveals but one screen credit, but further investigation yields the real treasure that hits close to home. Miracle Laurie is vocalist and uke player in the ukelele cover band –that’s right ukelele cover band- Uke Box Hero. This made my year. Part of me thinks that she came into a reading, and wowed the pants off of everyone. The rest of me, though, hopes to discover that Whedon was out of town, sitting in some crazy, near-the-airport bar. Amidst fog, lasers, mirrors, loads of hairspray, eyeliner, and platform shoes, young Miracle Laurie takes the stage, wailing away on a sweet cocktail of Ozzie Osbourne, AC/DC, Elton John, and Neil Diamond covers.

Thank you Joss Whedon! I love you!

Look for more in depth info on this show at my friend Cynthia’s Science Fiction/Fantasy site, SF Universe.

Okay, Supernatural fans! Are you going to watch Dollhouse, this Autumn? Come on. Leave a comment, and let’s hear how you feel about Joss Whedon’s new installment.

Post from: Supernatural Scoop

CW Synopsis: 3.13 Ghostfacers

CW

Supernatural News

3.13

3x13

ghostfacers

supernatural

synopsis

Television

the-cw

Last week, The CW posted the official synopsis for the next new Supernatural episode, Ghostfacers.
