Jared Padalecki fans, rejoice! Your beloved, bedecked, and beleaguered, will be available on glorious DVD, in Thomas Kinkade’s Christmas Cottage. This is the long-awaited film featuring Jared Padalecki as the young Thomas Kinkade, when he first set out to raise money to help his mother keep her home.

The DVD will be available November 11, 2008

It’s called Thomas Kinkade’s Christmas Cottage. Playing me, when I was 22 years old, is a wonderful young actor who you should Google — Jared Padalecki. He was a regular on the Gilmore Girls for years. By the way, in the movie, Glen Wessels [Kinkade's mentor], is played by the great Peter O’Toole.

Beginning this blog so recently, I have so many things queued up that I was waiting to approach the Thomas Kinkade movies and the wheres, whats, and hows of Mr. Padalecki’s career moves. When I saw this in the RFT, today, though, I couldn’t let it sit any longer.
